"How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris has agreed to step in to the role of "Narrator" in Acting for a Cure's benefit concert production of the cult musical classic The Rocky Horror Show, April 16th, 2007, at the American Airlines Theatre.

Directed by Gil Reyes, the show's cast includes Kevin Cahoon (Dr. Frank 'N' Furter), Rachel Helson (Janet), Michael Sutherland (Brad), David Burtka (Riff Raff), Kate Reinders (Columbia), Howie Michael Smith (Rocky), Harrison Hill, Nathan Norrington, Loresa Lanceta, Christopher Neubauer and Sara Frazier (Phantoms), Cathy Trien (Magenta), Michael Formika-Jones, (Eddie), and E.J. Carroll (Dr. Scott). Musical Direction is by David Purcell and Costume Design is by Michael Piatkowski.

The concert will raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The owner and writer of The Rocky Horror Show, Richard O'Brien, recently produced the concert version of the "Tribute" show as a fundraising benefit in London to rave reviews. He has graciously donated the royalty rights to Acting for a Cure, a non-profit production company founded in 2004, to produce the show for this very worthy cause. There are many major national corporate sponsors involved such as JP Morgan and Aveda, and one-hundred percent of the net proceeds from the show will benefit the Louisville and New York City affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
