Tulis McCall is the curator of Monologues and Madness, a unique series held at the Cornelia Street Cafe, on the first Monday of each month.

Tulis brings her extensive knowledge of acting, writing and producing in coordinating these immensely successful programs each month. The rules are simple - MONOLOGUES are read not memorized. They are not poems, short stories or stream of consciousness. It is what one character says to another or to the audience. Actors are invited on a first come, first served basis. Actors need not submit their monologues. Writers with a monologue need to find an actor who can present it.

What happens on these Mondays is often extraordinary - writers introduce new works, actors find something new in old dialogue, and the audience bears witness to the sheer beauty of words delivered with proficiency and passion.

Monologues and Madness, hosted by Tulis McCall will be presented on Monday, September 12 at 6:00pm. Admission is $15.00 and includes a drink. For reservations, call The Cornelia Street Café, 212-989-9319. And to see what else is happening Downstairs at Cornelia Street Café (29 Cornelia St., NYC), visit http://www.corneliastreetcafe.com.
