New York City's celebrated "Messenger Poet" Kurt Boone (left) is congratulated by Nicole Cloutier (right), editor of the new literary journal "Radiator" following his participation at the August 13, 2015 reading / launch event for the publication which was held at the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe in Manhattan.

Boone, who in addition to being a freelance writer and independent author ("The Skyscraper Shuffle" - www.kurtboonebooks.com), has also worked as a foot messenger for over 20 years.

Produced by Brooklyn-based creative communications agency Praytell, "Radiator" showcases the leading edge of Brooklyn & NYC and is full of ideas from both up and coming and established local talents.

Additional "Radiator" contributories including Joshua Feldman, Christine Friar, Meredith Haggerty, David Thomas Martinez, Chris Messer and Bianca Stone joined Boone and Praytell staff members at the celebration of the new publication.

Copies of the 106-page, full color journal are available for purchase at the Café, and all funds raised through sales will be donated directly to Housing Works, benefiting their mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS. Housing Works Bookstore Café is located at 126 Crosby Street in Manhattan. For hours and further info, go to www.housingworksbookstore.org.
