Megan Hilty talks Marilyn Monroe, SMASH and GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES!

Broadway superstar and familiar SMASH player Megan Hilty reflects on her time starring on the NBC musical series as well as shares her affection for Marilyn Monroe as part of a new interview.

Commenting on her SMASH experience, Hilty relates, "That was a great experience... it gave me a chance to really act, to use all of the gifts you have."

As for the central Marilyn Monroe musical on the series and Hilty's own affection for the screen icon, Hilty shares, "I absolutely love her [Monroe]. She was such a smart, funny and talented woman."

Discussing the headlining Monroe starrer GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES and Hilty's own recent association with the Jule Styne musical classic, Hilty imparts, "It was a Encores! production, a concert staging in 2012, but I felt so thrilled to be doing that. I've seen most of her movies."

Hilty adds, "If I had a dream... I would love to do the role in a fully, big-time Broadway production."
