The McAninch Arts Center presents the grand opening of the Pilobolus Dance Theater tonight, April 17 at 8:00pm.

Founded as an avant-garde dance company, Pilobolus has transformed into an international entertainment brand featured on the likes of "Oprah," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and the Academy Awards. The company maintains its own singular style, evolving interplay with shape shifting, shadow play and other explorations, showing the human body to be the most expressive, universal and magical of media. With a core mission to "make art that builds community," Pilobolus has built its fervent following by proving amazing feats can be achieved. Located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage, the MAC's 2014 Grand Opening Season marks the opening of the venue after a 14-month, $35 million renovation.

For more information, call the MAC Ticket Office at (630) 942-4000. Tickets to the event are $48 for adults, $46 for seniors, and $38 for youth and can be purchased online at www.AtTheMAC.org.
