Nina Dalton, a forty-something stage-actress/movie-star is performing in a new play written by her celebrated novelist husband Brian Bartov.
Brian, in his early seventies, fights a dual battle against early stage Alzheimer's Disease and the temptation to rewrite Nina's part for a younger woman in the film version of his play. Their world is shaken when Gar Jackson, her first love, shows up after thirty years with a play of staggering beauty and epic proportions, written especially for Nina.
