Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, currently stirring up comic hijinks in The Odd Couple and soon to be seen in the film version of The Producers, will be featured together on "Inside the Actors Studio." The Bravo show, hosted by creator James Lipton, will air on December 11th at 9 PM.

The interview show in which actors, writers and directors talk about their process and careers is now in its 12th season, with this season to feature shows with a number of stars. "The twelfth season is very special for 'Inside the Actors Studio' because it has such an unusual range. From the iconic work of Al Pacino to the sharp contemporary comedy — and commentary — of Dave Chappelle and Queen Latifah, to the historic presence of Barbara Walters, to the hilarity of Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, to the unbridled brilliance of Martin Lawrence, I suspect the show and I are in for a hell of a ride," stated Lipton.

The film version of The Producers will be released in theatres nationwide on December 25th after playing select cities beginning December 16th. The film, helmed by original Tony Award-winning director Susan Stroman, will feature Lane and Broderick recreating their original roles of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, respectively. Gary Beach, Roger Bart (both from the original cast), Will Ferrell and Uma Thurman will co-star.

Lane is a two-time Tony winner--for The Producers in 2001, and for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in 1996. Other Broadway credits include Sondheim's The Frogs, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Love! Valour! Compassion!, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Guys and Dolls, Wind in the Willows, Merlin and Present Laughter. He has been seen on screen in Nicholas Nickelby, the Stuart Little films, Love's Labour's Lost, The Birdcage, Jeffrey and more; he also leant his voice to The Lion King.

Broderick's Broadway credits include Taller Than a Dwarf, Night Must Fall and Biloxi Blues. He received a Tony for his role in the 1995 revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and for 1983's Brighton Beach Memoirs. He appeared off-Broadway in The Foreigner, and other off-Broadway credits include The Widow Clare and Torch Song Trilogy. His screen credits include The Stepford Wives, the TV movie musical of The Music Man, You Can Count On Me, Torch Song Trilogy, Biloxi Blues, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Lion King.

"Inside the Actors Studio," the longest-running original series on cable TV, is now held at
Pace University's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts. The new downtown venue replaces The New School University's Actors Studio Drama School
