Robert Klein, Lindsay Crouse and Jill Clayburgh will take part in upcoming readings and events at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts.  The readings will honor the theatre's artistic director, playwright Israel Horowitz, who is retiring.

Klein (They're Playing Our Song, The Sisters Rosensweig), who has replaced the previously-announced Peter Boyle, will star in a reading of Arthur Miller's All My Sons on July 30th at 4 PM.  Boyle has the flu.  His sister Alice Duffy and daugter Lucy Boyle will take part in the reading, however.

Lindsay Crouse (The Homecoming, Much Ado About Nothing), along with Boyle, hosts Eric and Emily Haggman and the GSC staff and Board of Directors, will appear at a Farewell Gala for Horowitz on Sunday, July 30th at 7 PM.

Oscar-nominee Clayburgh (Barefoot in the Park, films such as Starting Over) will headline a reading of Wendy Wasserstein's The Sisters Rosensweig on August 1st at 8 PM.  A reception with Clayburgh and Horowitz will follow.

Horowitz has been the artistic director of GSC for 27 seasons; he also founded the company.  He is the author of more than 50 produced plays, including Park Your Card in Harvard Yard, The Widow's Blind Date, My Old Lady and the upcoming The Secret of Mme. Bonnard's Bath, which will have its premiere at GSC in August.
