Kimberly Faye Greenberg is quickly becoming the "go-to" gal for Fanny Brice, the legendary first female torch singer and comedienne of her time. A 1920's Ziegfeld Follies star, recording artist, film actor and voice of "Baby Snooks" on the radio for 25 years, the Broadway musical Funny Girl, which then became a movie, was based on her life. Kimberly has been said to be "the closest you will ever get to the real Funny Girl". She won critics over when she appeared as "Fanny" in the solo show One Night with Fanny Brice, Off-Broadway, receiving critical acclaim and a nomination for an IBTA Best Solo Performance Award.

Kimberly continues to play "Fanny Brice" in the Broadway-bound musical Ghostlight and, due to her in-depth Brice perspective, has made numerous radio and TV interview appearances and has had articles published in various circuits.

With high audience demand, Kimberly created a refreshing and intimate new solo show, Fabulous Fanny: The Songs and Stories of Fanny Brice. Kimberly shares her extensive research not as another tribute, but to personally reveal Fanny's heart and humor, soul and song. Fabulous Fanny premiered in December 2012 at The Riviera in NJ and has played theatres, clubs, museums, concert associations, churches and opened the 10th Anniversary Season for the Group Theatre Too in NYC.

Now audiences can take home a CD for this new Fanny solo show.

You may ask "What makes this CD special or different than other CD's featuring Fanny Brice music?" In addition to Kimberly's close renditions to the legend, the CD features Fanny Brice songs that have yet to be recorded since her first 1920's and 1930's recordings! "When a Woman Loves a Man", "I was a Floradora Baby", and the "lost" songs "Make 'Em Laugh" (Blanche Merrill) as well as "Sadie Salome" (Irving Berlin) are featured on the album (songs originally written for Fanny Brice for which Kimberly has found no known recording of her singing them). There are also the familiar Fanny Brice songs that continue to honor this legend: "Second Hand Rose," "My Man," "Rose of Washington Square", "I'd Rather Be Blue," "If You Want the Rainbow You Must Have the Rain," "Cooking Breakfast for the One I Love" and "Ain't That The Way". Additionally, the CD includes Kimberly's very own tribute with some of the music that first introduced her to Fanny Brice, the indelible classics from the musical based on her life, Funny Girl. A unique bonus addition to this CD is a medley of two songs from the upcoming Broadway musical Ghostlight, in which Kimberly plays Fanny Brice, that can only be obtained here.
