On Monday, May 5 at 8:00 PM, Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage and Sher Krieger Events are presenting "Jordan Miller Presents: The Broadway Leading Man."
San Diego singer/actor Jordan Miller presents his one-man show featuring songs made famous by such legends as Howard Keel, John Raitt, Robert Goulet, and Mario Lanza, along with some Broadway history and stories from Miller's own theatrical career. Miller, based in San Diego, takes you on a journey that tells how he, an impressionable young man from a small town in East Texas, was inspired by the likes of Keel, Goulet, Raitt and Lanza to follow in their footsteps and to keep their memories and their music alive. Miller brings back the sounds of the Golden Age of the Hollywood Musical and the Broadway Stage. With music from such Broadway and Hollywood musicals such as "Oklahoma!", "Camelot", "Annie Get Your Gun" and even some classic Neapolitan favorites!
Whether or not you remember the Golden Age of the Hollywood Musical and the stars that graced the silver screen or that wonderful Golden Era of Musical Theatre, you'll enjoy an evening with swaggering baritone Jordan Miller as he celebrates their music and recounts how he, an impressionable young cowboy from a small East Texas town, was inspired by these great voices to keep their memories alive.
