According to a report first released by TVLine.com, Tony nominee Jon Michael Hill will play a recurring role on CBS' Elementary, a modern take on the Sherlock Holmes detective stories.

Hill will play a detective working with Sherlock, who is portrayed by Broadway's Jonny Lee Miller alongside another stage vet, Lucy Liu, as Watson.

Hill was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in Broadway's Superior Donuts in 2009. He also played Puck in the Shakespeare in the Park production of A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2007.

On screen, Hill has appeared in Detroit 1-8-7, Eastbound & Down, Person of Interest, Law & Order: SVU, and more.
