CapLive and the historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in downtown York welcome co-headliners Hayes Carll and Bob Schneider to the Capitol Theatre on Friday, March 21 at 8:00 p.m. The Hayes Carll and Bob Schneider show is the newest addition to CapLive's eclectic 2013-14 season lineup of nationally-known acts and up-and-coming performers. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 10:00 a.m.

Hayes Carll is an odd mix - wildly literate, utterly slackerly, impossibly romantic and absolutely a slave to the music. Twelve years into a recording career, Hayes Carll shows no signs of having arrived at his creative apex. Each album expands on his already extreme vintage country, extreme thumping bad road boogie, extreme heartbroken ache - and finds new ways to take on the fate of the nation.

With the release of his latest album Burden of Proof, Bob Schneider breaks new ground exploring loss, lust, love, dark desires and skeptical optimism. While on stage, Schneider commands the room. He's charismatic and friendly, bantering with his bandmates and heckling the audience. As he launches into each song with his whole being, the audience is instantly transported, tumbling through the dark recesses of his imagination.

Tickets are $23.00 and go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at www.StrandCapitol.org, by calling the Strand-Capitol box office at 717-846-1111, or at the door the evening of the show.

An additional upcoming CapLive show to look for: Mike Doughty's World-Renowned, Award-Winning Question Jar Show on Friday, Feb. 28.
