Ghost of Vroom – the acclaimed band comprised of veteran singer-songwriter Mike Doughty (Soul Coughing), bassist Andrew “Scrap” Livingston, and drummer Madden Klass – have announced plans for their biggest headline tour thus far. North American dates begin November 3 at Gabe’s in Iowa City, IA, and then travels through mid-November.

In advance of the release of their debut album WOOLY MAMAS, Lancaster, PA-based eclectic rock outfit DIMESTORE DOLLS have shared an imaginative music video for the album’s second single, “Down To Mechanics,” an infectious vocal harmony-drenched mix of rock, pop and alternative.

A reunion that never seemed possible, Steinberg was performing at Largo in Los Angeles on Saturday night, February 5, as part of the Watkins Family Hour and brought up Doughty unexpectedly and unannounced to perform Soul Coughing songs “Super Bon Bon” and “True Dreams of Wichita.'

The song is from Ghost of Vroom's debut album, GHOST OF VROOM 1, out via Mod y Vi Records Friday, March 19. Pre-orders are available now.

Fans who pre-order GHOST OF VROOM 1 will receive a download of “I Hear The Ax Swinging.” An official companion video – directed by renowned humorist/cartoonist David Rees – is currently in post-production and will premiere later this month.

A who's who of stage, screen, and music stars came together virtually last night to help The 24 Hour Plays celebrate its milestone 20th Annual Broadway Gala. In 1995, a group of writers, directors and actors gathered on Manhattan's Lower East Side for what was supposed to be a one-time only event: write, direct, produce and perform new plays within the span of 24 hours. Twenty-four years later, The 24 Hour Plays and The 24 Hour Musicals are regularly performed around the world, touching everyone from celebrities to student artists and raising millions of dollars for charities. Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that they'll mark their anniversary with an intimate production of The 24 Hour Musicals on Monday, June 17th at 8 PM on the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
