Ann Harada, Klea Blackhurst, Heidi Blickenstaff and more will perform in a free reading of the new musical Gay Grimms on Thursday, January 11th at 7:30 PM at the York Theatre Company.

Harada (Avenue Q), Blackhurst (Bingo), and Blickenstaff ([title of show]), as well as Jonathan Brody, Jillian Louis, Randy Redd and Devin Richards, will be featured in the reading.

The Gay Grimms is "a new musical about Jackie and Leon, the Cousins Grimm, adapting their ancestors' beloved stories and adding a queer sensibility to them. The cousins learn a lot about themselves in the process; including revelations that provide a mysterious and surprising twist to their creative collaboration," York Theatre notes state.

The musical features a book by Ted Sod, music by Dan Martin and lyrics by Michael Biello.

The York Theatre Company is located at the Theatre at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Ave. at 54th St.).  Call 212-935-5824, ext. 24 for reservations.  For more information, visit www.yorktheatre.org.
