Day 3 was full of exciting opportunities! In addition to opening number and medley rehearsals, John and Shelby had their first coaching sessions where they performed individually and received feedback from their coaches. The work day wrapped up early so everyone could get cleaned up for a night on the town which included a Times Square photo op, Dinner at Sardi's, tickets to Come From Away and a cast chatback after the show!Time is precious on the road to the Jimmy Awards, and no time was wasted on Day 2 as John and Shelby hit the ground running at 7:30am. Their first full day included vocal rehearsal, dancing, a costume parade, surprise guests and some really good news! John and Shelby were both selected to be in the medley group for the Jimmy Awards. In addition, Shelby will be working with Broadway Director, Schele Kleinberger and John will be coached by Broadway veteran, Michael McElroy. Looks like their week is off to a great start!

Rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal! John and Shelby continue to work hard as coaches perfect the opening number and medleys. They also had more individual coaching time and are both excited about their song choices: John will be singing "I Once Knew" from Edges, and Shelby has selected "Where Am I Now" from Lysistrata Jones. In the midst of all this hard work, John and Shelby are thrilled to be meeting so many wonderful people and making some great friends along the way!
