Former New York Times theatre critic Frank Rich recently answered a plethora of questions through a Reddit AMA, about which he tweeted: 'Fielded two hours' worth of smart questions in the AMA at Reddit today, dealing with everything from Paul Ryan to the opening night of "42nd Street."'

Frank Rich is an essayist and op-ed columnist who wrote for The New York Times from 1980, when he was appointed its chief theatre critic, until 2011. He held various positions with the Times. Rich served as chief theatre critic of the New York Times from 1980 to 1993, earning the nickname "Butcher of Broadway" for his power over the prospects of Broadway shows. He curently writes for New York Magazine.
