Emilia Clarke, Brie Larson in Running for 'Sarah Connor' in TERMINATOR Reboot?
The Hollywood Reporter writes that Alan Taylor is about to begin testing actors for his upcoming TERMINATOR reboot, starting with the role of 'Sarah Connor'. Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Brie Larson (The Spectacular Now) and Margot Robbie (About Time) are reportedly among the contenders.

James Cameron's original movies starred Linda Hamilton as Connor - the future mother of John Connor, the eventual leader of the human resistance. The franchise began in 1984, with the most recent movie, Terminator Salvation, coming out in 2009.
Actors under consideration for the role of John Connor's father 'Kyle Reese' allegedly include Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy), with Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) in the running for John.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as a Terminator assigned to protect the young Sarah Connor.
The first in a stand-alone trilogy, TERMINATOR will be produced by Megan Ellison of Annapurna and David Ellison of Skydance. Dana Goldberg and Paul Schwake of Skydance will serve as executive producers. Laeta Kalorgridis ("Avatar," "Shutter Island") and Patrick Lussier ("Drive Angry") are attached to write the screenplay.
This will be the fifth movie in the TERMINATOR series and is set for release July 1, 2015.
Clarke is well known for her portrayal of 'Daenerys Targaryen' in the Game of Thrones TV series and just made her first foray onto the Broadway stage in Breakfast at Tiffany's this year.
Larson's upcoming big screen projects include Basmati Blues, The Gambler and Relanxious. Her past credits include Short Term 12, Don Jon, The Spectacular Now, 21 Jump Street, Treatment, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and more.
Robbie will next be seen in The Wolf of Wall Street, Suite française, Focus and Violent Talent. She recently starred in About Time. Her TV credits include Pan Am and Neighbours.
