DOLITA Paris, has launched a spectacular new coordinated mother-daughter dress collection for Spring-Summer 2013. The collection called Happiness, which showcases DOLITA's ultra-feminine and wearable designs in a wide range of exclusive cotton and Lycra and silk jersey and Lycra fabrics are available for retail sale at her boutique and wholesale to retailers.
The Happiness Collection features 7 pairings of styles of mother and little girl dresses for both day and evening wear. Made from the finest fabrics personally selected by Dolita from France and Italy, the dresses are sensuous, soft and luxurious to the touch, reflecting Dolita' s French heritage and lingerie design background. Dolita's French styles distinguish themselves with their femininity, timelessness, chicness and elegance.
To celebrate the launch of the Happiness line DOLITA Paris is offering an early pre-Spring "pre- fixe" special collection of both Happiness Mother and Daughter dresses for $200.
In making the announcement, Dolita said, "I am so excited to have created the Happiness Mother -Daughter Collection. My dresses are hand made with love, for women who love life! I can think of no better way to share that love of life than to offer my designs and creations to the woman who love to wear them together with coordinated lovely dresses for the beautiful little girls who they love."
Dolita grew up in Paris. At 16 she began her design career at the House of Haute Couture of Jacques Esterel. After eighteen months she decided to design lingerie and swim wear. She worked for both fine lingerie designers and commercial labels, proving her ability and creativity. In 1993 she created DOLITA Paris, her own line that seduced the Parisian fashion world. Her handcrafted dresses were snapped up at the most fashionable stores throughout France, the UK, Spain, Singapore, Israel, Japan and Dubai. In 2010, Dolita came to the US to introduce American woman to her unique styles and creativity. Using her own technique she has sewn thousands of dresses and can make a dress just by looking at a woman. She cuts the fabric and then assembles the pieces like a patchwork. Dolita has a wondrous ability to create and make all her dresses by herself using no patterns or measurements.
The DOLITA Paris Happiness mothers' dresses are available in 5 sizes for every age, body shape and size and height. Because the fabrics feature Lycra, they are very "forgiving" so that the dresses are easily worn by all body shapes. In addition, the styles can be adapted by adding, removing or changing sleeve length and raising or lowering skirt length for a woman's height or occasion.
Dolita's Happiness Collection dresses for little girls feature the same beautiful fluid fabrics with styles similar and coordinated to the adult versions, but age appropriate to a child. They are available in sizes 2T- 4T.
"I envision beautiful mothers and their little daughters wearing my dresses together for years at afternoon tea, parties and weddings. DOLITA Paris has opened a March pop-up store at the Roger Smith Hotel, 501 Lexington Avenue, between 47th and 48th Streets. Open everyday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the DOLITA Paris New York Showroom and Retail store is located at 336 East 54th Street (between First and Second Avenues) and is open weekday afternoons by appointment from 2:00- 7:00 p.m.
