On February 13, 2014, comedian Liza Dye was texting while walking on the subway platform when she fell in front of an oncoming B train. Her legs were injured and she is already making jokes about the event.

Friends have raised over $17,000 so far to cover her medical expenses.

The website, youcaring.com is asking for more help in covering her medical expenses.

Liza has no health insurance and is accepting donations directly to her paypal account.
