Tony Award nominee Christopher Jackson will play George Washington in the Broadway production of Hamilton one last time on Sunday, November 13. Jackson is currently filming CBS-TV's "Bull" and has recorded an original song written by Lin-Manuel Miranda for the new Disney film Moana in theaters this November. Mr. Jackson originated the role of George Washington and has played the role in Hamilton since the musical began performances last year at the Public Theater.

Nicholas Christopher, who covered the role of George Washington this summer, will begin performances on Tuesday, November 15 and will continue through the end of 2016. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Christopher has appeared in Lazarus The Musical (NYTW), Whorl Inside A Loop (2nd Stage), The Tempest (Shakespeare In The Park), Motown The Musical (original Broadway Cast), Rent (1st revival), Hurt Village (Signature Theatre Co.) In the Heights (1st Nat'l tour), Fortress of Solitude (Dallas Theatre Center), Motown The Musical (1st Nat'l Tour). On television, Nick has been seen on "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll" (FX). He studied at The Boston Conservatory and The Juilliard School. A native of Bermuda and raised in Massachusetts, he considers both to be home. He will be playing the role of "John" in the Miss Saigon revival this spring.

Javier Muñoz as Alexander Hamilton leads the Broadway Hamilton company that includes Brandon Victor Dixon as Aaron Burr: Mandy Gonzalez as Angelica Schuyler; Christopher Jackson as George Washington; Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds; Lexi Lawson as Eliza Hamilton; Michael Luwoye as Mr. Muñoz's alternate; Rory O'Malley as King George III; and Seth Stewart as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson.

The Broadway ensemble includes Gerald Avery, Carleigh Bettiol, Andrew Chappelle, Hope Easterbrook, Karla Puno Garcia, David Guzman, Gregory Haney, Neil Haskell, Sasha Hollinger, Thayne Jasperson, Elizabeth Judd, Roddy Kennedy, Morgan Marcell, Jevon McFerrin, Eliza Ohman, Antuan Magic Raimone, Gregory Treco, Kamille Upshaw, Tanairi Sade Vazquez, Voltaire Wade-Greene, Nik Walker, Zelig Williams and Syndee Winters.

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, music direction/orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical won eleven 2016 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Choreography and Orchestrations. Mr. Miranda received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Hamilton.

HAMILTON is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War, and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now.

The musical is produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman and The Public Theater.

The Hamilton Original Broadway Cast Recording - recipient of the 2016 Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album and a regular on numerous Billboard top 10 lists - is available everywhere nationwide.

HAMILTON: The Revolution, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jeremy McCarter's book about the making of the musical, is on sale and has been a selection on The New York Times Best Seller List.

The Chicago production of Hamilton is now in previews and opens on October 19th. A touring production begins a 21-week run in San Francisco in March 2017, followed by a 21-week engagement in Los Angeles. A London production will be mounted, also in 2017.
