Chris Isaak, Bob Costas and More Set for WFUV Spring Gala

Singer-songwriter Chris Isaak, ABC News Global Affairs Anchor Christiane Amanpour, NBC Sports Broadcaster Al Michaels and City Winery founder Michael Dorf will be honored on Thursday, May 10th at the Fifth Annual WFUV Spring Gala, taking place at New York City's Gotham Hall.

Chris Isaak will be feted as WFUV's "Artist of the Year" and receive the WFUV Sound & Vision Award; Christiane Amanpour will receive the Charles Osgood Lifetime Achievement Award in Broadcast Journalism (Cynthia McFadden will be accepting the award on Amanpour's behalf); Al Michaels will receive the Vin Scully Lifetime Achievement Award in Sports Broadcasting (Bob Costas will be accepting for Michaels); and Michael Dorf will be honored with the inaugural WFUV Community Service Award.WFUV is licensed to Fordham University, the Jesuit University of New York.

The event benefits New York's "Rock and Roots" public radio station WFUV. An anticipated audience of more than 300 donors will be treated to a performance by Chris Isaak, accompanied by his full band.

WFUV hosts Rita Houston, Vin Scelsa, Dennis Elsas, John Platt, Claudia Marshall, Darren DeVivo, Corny O'Connell, Russ Borris and Alisa Ali will all be on hand.
