Paul Williams and legendary songwriters and producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis lauded Matthews’s achievements and hit songwriter MoZella performed “Wrecking Ball” (all are ASCAP members). Video tributes to Matthews featured music industry giants Stephen Schwartz, NE-YO, Marcus Miller, Desmond Child, John Platt and Ashley Gorley among many others.

Ward will launch the tour with a show at New York’s Sony Hall on Monday, December 19, featuring special surprise musical guests.

Several selections can be heard on Broadway in the revival of Into the Woods (“Stay with Me,” “Agony,” “I Know Things Now,” “No One Is Alone”), in addition to the recent remounting of Company (“Another Hundred People,” “Marry Me a Little”), and the upcoming high-profile return of Merrily We Roll Along (“Not a Day Goes By,” the title song).

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS has announced that “Another Hundred People” – the debut single from Eleri Ward’s upcoming album – will be released on streaming and digital formats on Friday, June 17.

Eleri Ward will celebrate her hit album A Perfect Little Death from GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS with two special concerts at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street) in New York this season. After her upcoming debut at the venue on March 2 quickly sold out, an additional performance has been added for Wednesday, March 16 at 7:00 PM.
