Chris Evans Reveals He'd Like to Return to the Stage

Film star Chris Evans is currently in Toronto for the 2014 Toronto Film Festival to promote his latest movie, BEFORE WE GO, and according to a recent interview with the New York Times, he'd like to make his way back to the stage.

He told NYT: "Yes, definitely. I like pursuing new endeavors. That's part of the reason I wanted to direct. I like to create things. I'm a Gemini. I'm always looking for something new. And I certainly miss the theater. So who knows what tomorrow will bring?"

Evans is best known for his superhero roles as Johnny Storm / Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007); and Steve Rogers / Captain America inCaptain America: The First Avenger (2011), Marvel's The Avengers (2012) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), a role he will reprise inAvengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Evans began his career on the television series Opposite Sex (2000), moving to film in 2001 with Not Another Teen Movie.
