Chita Rivera, BILLY ELLIOT, Kander & Ebb Tribute, and More Lead PBS Arts Fall Festival

PBS has announced their lineup for this year's Arts Fall Festival, and theatre fans will be excited. Performances range from SHOW BOAT to ACT ONE, and feature performers such as Chita Rivera, Vanessa Williams, Norm Lewis, Kate Baldwin, and many more familiar Broadway names.

The first LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER presentation of the season will be KERN & HAMMERSTEIN'S SHOW BOAT IN CONCERT on Oct. 16. Accompanied by the New York Philharmonic, the concert will star Vanessa Williams, Julian Ovenden, Norm Lewis, Jane Alexander, Fred Willard, and Lauren Worsham.

For GREAT PERFORMANCES, a recorded version of the West End's BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL will air on Oct. 23.

Featuring clips from live and TV performance archives, CHITA RIVERA: A LOT OF LIVIN' TO DO will air on Nov. 6. The tribute to Rivera also includes interviews with contemporaries, such as Dick Van Dyke, Ben Vereen, and more.

To conclude the LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER series, last Broadway season's ACT ONE, James Lapine's biographical play about Moss Hart will air on Nov. 13. The show stars Tony Shalhoub, Andrea Martin, and Santino Fontana.

Also in November, Kate Baldwin, Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Norm Lewis, Julia Murney and Matthew Scott will lead FIRST YOU DREAM- THE MUSIC OF KANDER & EBB on Nov. 20.
