Kristin Chenoweth is working with Wendy's to support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, CBS News reports.  Chenoweth, who is herself adopted, invited foster children to visit her backstage at the Broadway Theater, where she stars in PROMISES, PROMISES, on June 14.  In addition, Wendy's will be hosting 'Father's Day Frosty Weekend,' during which they will donate fifty cents from each Frosty sold to the foundation.

Chenoweth told CBS News,"The message is simple -- we want to get foster kids into homes.  One of the things people forget about - if you have parents, you have parents. A lot of kids don't. I was lucky.  It's changed my life by having parents."  She added, "There are so many kids without homes here in our own country.  They just want the same opportunities that I had - unconditional love and self-esteem."

Chenoweth also said that she enjoys working with co-star Sean Hayes and thought he was a "great host" for the 2010 Tony Awards.  After finishing PROMISES, PROMISES, Chenoweth says, she will work on a new album and tour.  In addition, she will likely appear on 'Glee' again.  Of 'Glee', Chenoweth said, "I've gotten to come back twice. They keep talking about what she's gonna do next, so I can only assume I'll be back."  Chenoweth is also working on another television project, of which she did not give details.
