Chandelier Productions Presents THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW Tonight

Chandelier Productions once again teams up with Gay City Health Project, tonight, December 28, 2013 at the legendary Showbox at the Market to deliver a one-night-only live performance of the original cult phenomenon, The Rocky Horror Show. See it like you have never seen it before. Bikers! Gorgeous go-go girls! Transsexuals from another planet! All through the lens of 1960s and 70s exploitation film. Join Chandelier Productions for all the filth and fun associated with classic grindhouse cinema and Pacific Northwest garage rock. This is not a movie screening, or a shadow cast, this is the real deal. MORE SEX! MORE BLOOD! MORE MUSCLE! Live musical theater with a rock-n-roll band!

The Rocky Horror Show transports the audience back in time to the pre-pill 1960s, where virginal heroes, Brad and Janet, encounter the dog days of sexual hedonism in the form of a transvestite mad scientist and his collection of alien servants. Best described as the back alley where "glam met rock, cross-dressed it, slept with it, and taught the audience all the tunes," TRHS goes where other late-night lingerie shows don't dream of going. It begs its audience - don't dream it, be it.

In October 2012, Chandelier Productions raised $8,000 for Gay City Health Project with a sell-out run of The Rocky Horror Show and John Cameron Mitchell and Steven Trask's Hedwig & the Angry Inch presented as a live double feature. This year's one-night-only revival hopes to earn an additional $5,000.
