Broadway vet Susan Egan announced on Twitter today that she is in the studio recording her next album.

No word yet on a release date, theme or title, but BWW will bring you more news as soon as we have it!

This will be Egan's seventh album. She previously recorded So Far... (2002), Coffee House (2004), All That & More (2005), Winter Tracks (2006), Susan Egan Live! (2007) and Secret of Happiness (2011).

The actress starred on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie, won critical acclaim as 'Sally Bowles' in Cabaret, originated the leading roles in Triumph of Love and State Fair, and received Tony Award and Drama Desk nominations for Best Actress as the original 'Belle' in the stage version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She also provided the voice for 'Megara' in Disney's animated film Hercules.
