Tony Award nominated Broadway veteran Brenda Braxton's (Smokey Joe's Café, Chicago) gentlemen's grooming company BBRAXTON has been named the official barber for Broadway's smash hit MOTOWN THE MUSICAL.

The new relationship honors the classic iconic look of the men of Motown, both on and off stage, and the cool eclectic style of the actors who portray them in their everyday lives when not performing eight times a week to standing ovations at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

The unique collaboration signals BBRAXTON becoming the standard bearer in providing grooming services that address the unique needs of African-American men on Broadway.

The hit Broadway production of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL features over 350 custom made wigs and hairpieces for men and women created by award winning designer Charles LaPointe, including over 100 custom beards and mustaches.

MOTOWN THE MUSICAL Broadway cast members Jesse Nager, Rickey Tripp, Julius Thomas III, Jawan Jackson, Eric Lajuan Summers, Ephraim Sykes and director Charles Randolph-Wright recently gathered at BBRAXTON's Harlem based studio location for a photo shoot to launch the association and development of new services created by her company specifically for Broadway productions.

"It's an honor to groom the wonderfully talented gentlemen of the Motown The Musical company," Ms. Braxton said. "But this connection has also brought together two friends of over 30 years!" Director Charles Randolph-Wright and Braxton met early in their performing careers on Broadway in the 1980's. "The photo shoot was fun, but we had to keep breaking because we couldn't stop laughing about the things we remembered from both working with the infamous director/choreographer Michael Bennett."

BBRAXTON is located at 1400 5th Avenue at 116th Street. For more information about the establishment that offers exceptional grooming for exceptional men visit www.BBRAXTON.com or call 212-289-3200.
