Bay Street Theatre welcomes the stars this summer as a talented array of renowned actors and comedians are set to grace the stage. From Broadway's favorite ingénue, Sutton Foster, to Darrell Hammond in a Mamet farce, from a New York premiere to a prize-winning revival -the Bay Street stage has something to suit everyone's fancy this summer!

Memorial Weekend kicks off on Saturday May 29th at 8pm, with a ONE NIGHT ONLY special performance with Tony Award-winning Broadway actress Sutton Foster! Foster will perform an intimate concert featuring many of the hit songs she created in her leading roles in recent Broadway shows such as SHREK, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE and THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. The evening will also include her favorite classic and pop songs and additional selections from her new CD, "Wish." What better way to begin the summer in the Hamptons?

This year, the Elaine Steinbeck Stage at Bay Street will again be home to three Summer Mainstage productions. The line-up begins with the New York Premiere of Dissonance by Damian Lanigan which runs June 1-27th. Directed by Lonny Price, this witty and wise play puts egos, loyalty and love to the test when a rock star rattles the bonds of a classical quartet.

From July 6th thru August 1st it's the revival of the American classic, Fifth of July. Directed by Broadway favorite Terry Kinney and produced as a co-production with the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Bay Street is thrilled to present this timeless piece by Sag Harbor's own Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lanford Wilson. Alternately funny and moving, Fifth of July "is the wisest and funniest play of its generation...", says The New York Times.

The courtroom farce Romance, by David Mamet, rounds out the summer from August 10th thru September 5th. Directed by Lisa Peterson, Mamet is at his most adept in this roller coaster ride in which no one is safe from ridicule. Make sure to leave the "politically correct" hat at home for this one! Subscriptions and single tickets for all three Main Stage shows are on sale now. A limited number of $99 subscriptions are available for new subscribers.

For those who love to laugh, Bay Street is sure to please this year as The Comedy Club returns with Monday night fun, and a few Saturdays thrown in as well! To kick off the laughs; two comedy greats come to the Bay Street stage for 4th of July Weekend Fun. Joy Behar will perform on Saturday, July 3rd and Darrell Hammond will come to the stage on Monday, July 5th. Tickets to these special holiday weekend performances are $60 and $75. Other comics include Jake Johannsen on July 12th, David Alan Grier on July 19th, Jim Breuer on July 26th, David Brenner on August 7th, Ralphie May on August 16th, Joe Piscopo & Bobby Slayton on August 23rd and Jamie Kennedy on August 30th. All comedy shows begin at 8pm. Tickets are $60 unless otherwise noted and sell out quickly.

For the kids this summer, don't miss Bay Street's Kids Summer Camps featuring theater, music and more! July 5 - 9th is Musical Theater Camp, the Roots of Rhythm Drumming Camp is from July 12 - 16th and from July 26 - 30th is the Production Lab Camp. Kids may choose one or sign up for all three!
