NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts will present its CIRCUS NOW: International Contemporary Circus Exposure 2016, running January 14 - 16 at NYU Skirball. Circus Now will showcase six cutting-edge circus companies and feature international artists from five countries. The Expo will be hosted by the circus performer and musician Sxip Shirey.

CIRCUS NOW 2016 will feature Acrobatic Conundrum (US.), Oktobre (France), Barely Methodical Troupe (U.K), Andréane Leclerc (Canada), Water on Mars (Sweden), and Aloft Circus Arts (U.S.).

NYU Skirball has partnered with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey to present a circus-themed costume exhibit in 13 large display windows adjacent to the Skirball Center. The exhibit will feature Ringling Bros. circus costumes designed by three acclaimed costume designers and NYU graduates: Gregg Barnes (Tony Award, Follies, The Drowsy Chaperone), Susan Hilferty (Tony Award, Wicked), and Eduardo Sicangco (Broadway Bares, The Harlem Nutcracker). The exhibit will also feature circus memorabilia, photographs and historical information, and will be on display from December 23 - January 18, 2016.
