Hey everyone! I can't believe we're on Live Rounds for the Voice! It seems like just yesterday I was recapping the blind auditions, and now we're at the Lives! Everyone is on their team, and has made it incredibly far. This week's objective is to send two people from each people home, and three people will advance: two people chosen by America and one chosen by a coach. If you're familiar with The Voice, they offer phone calls, texting (if you have Sprint), online voting, and buying the singles by the contestants will help them be saved in the competition. Each night you have until 10 AM the next day for your vote to count.

Alright, this week we started with a performance by Christina and Flo Rida, performing their new single, "How I Feel" before the competition started. The performance had amazing production value (would we expect anything less from Xtina?) and I love a good vocalist tied with a good rapper. I always think that makes a great pairing, and Christina and Flo Rida delivered.

But now, onto the contestants.

The first contestant up was Shelbie Z, who got married since we saw her on the prerecorded rounds! Congratulations Shelbie! She chose to sing Rita McIntyre's song "Fancy", to which Blake responded that she had to hit it out of the park, cause Rita watches The Voice! No pressure! Luckily, Shelbie completely owned up to the challenge, and none of the judges could disagree with that. CeeLo and Adam both said she is one of the reasons that Blake's team is so strong, while Blake agreed, saying that if he had just woken up from a coma, he would think she was a big name in country. It doesn't get much better than that, and I think Rita was proud.

Next up we have Team Adam's James Wolpert, who sang "A Case of You" by Joni Mitchell (one of my favorite songs!). This performance seemed to turn Blake into a fan of James, and encouraged him to do more acoustic versions of songs, like how he performed "A Case of You". Christina and CeeLo both applauded him, saying that his peformance was heartwarming and a great song choice for him. His coach, Adam, praised him for being poised and elegant during his performance.

Team Blake went up next with Nic Hawk, singing "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke. Both CeeLo and Adam complimented him on his rhythm and ability to be entertaining. Blake called him the complete performer. However, in a competition where song choice is everything, with the controversy surrounding Blurred Lines, was Nic's performance strong enough to keep him in the competition? We'll see!

Team Blake went up again with Ray Bourdeaux, who sang "Home" by Marc Broussard. Christina said it was his best performance so far, and loved the "blues-y vibe". CeeLo said it was a great song choice and hit home for him. Coach Blake said, Ray has the ability to bring awareness to a style of music titled "Louisiana Swamp Pop", and that Blake's excited for his future as a performer, even beyond a performer.

Another Team Blake contestent, Austin Jenckles, who sang "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes. Christina admitted that she stopped taking notes at one point to watch Austin, she was so entranced by the performance. Coach Blake said that "It's one thing to sing a song, and other to sing it with heart", which is what Austin was able to do with that song. He said he can count on Austin to give him 150% soul on a song and sing it flawlessly, and he said "Your heart lays out on the stage and i appreciate that as a fellow artist and as a fan."

Team Adam contestant Grey went next, singing "Still Into You" by Paramore. Blake said she was dominant on the stage, and CeeLo, though he didn't know the song, though she did amazing. Coach Adam said that he was happy she was getting out of the idea of covering songs and into the mentality of making them her own, and he's happy with what she's accomplished.

Team Adam contestant Will Champlin went next, singing OneRepublic's "Secrets", with a special arrangements on the piano. Christina lamented that she had lost Will in the Battles and was no longer on her teaM. Adam said he's a player (regarding the piano) and that he should take his abilities as a gift.

Team Adam contestant Preston Pohl sang "Nothin' On You" by B.O.B, taking the R&B song, making it more rock, but kept the rapping part of the song to show his versatality. Blake was blown away by the performance, Christina said he had a god given rasp in his voice and amakes everything sound oldschool and classic. Adam callEd Preston the most unique performer in the competion and said he has things that can't be coached, and that's the most important thing as a singer.

The last Team Blake performance was Cole Vosbury, and sang "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart. Christina couldn't believe that he was a single chair turn, while CeeLo says he's still loved by everyone on Team CeeLo. Adam laments not turning for him and that he's on Adam's team. Blake seems to have put his money on Cole, saying he could win the whole thing.

The last performance of the night was Tessanne Chin, who sang "Many Rivers to Cross" by Jimmy Cliff. She got a standing ovation and became a bit emotional, which Christina says she deserves to cry tears of joy, and that Tessanne is capable of soaring vocals. All Coach Adam could add was that she has a golden heart and a huge heart and he loves and his proud of her.

Join me to watch Team CeeLo and Team Xtina to go up against each other tonight! Who else is excited?!
