In the midst of its highest ever year-to-year gain in visitor traffic, BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theatre site on the net is pleased to announce a major expansion of its unmatched team of live entertainment critics.

"When we noted the recent news about the Associated Press, Backstage and local publications pulling back on review coverage," said Robert Diamond, Founder & CEO, "we decided to 'swoop' into action and pick up the ball ourselves by expanding our review coverage to help ticket buyers coast to coast and around the world plan where to spend their hard-earned entertainment dollars".

Led by Chief Broadway Critic, Michael Dale, the current critic roster, which includes Jenna Tesse Fox, Trish Vignola, and Duncan Pflaster, will expand with additional critics devoted exclusively to the myriad of Off-Broadway, and Off-Off Broadway productions.

Furthermore, marking a milestone for the site, Michael Dale has just recently been accepted to the 'first night' press list. Thus, commencing with the 2013-14 theatre season, BroadwayWorld.com will for the first time, be posting opening night reviews of its own, along with the site's popular Live Review Roundups of other major critics.

Rounding this out, the site has also expanded its popular Reviews Section. Available now, its exclusive Critics Report Card, Broadway, and Off-Broadway Review Roundups feature expanded coverage of New York theatre including Broadway, Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Cabaret and beyond with improved navigation.

The site is also in active discussion on offering review content for syndication to interested local and national press.

Increasing the site's arts coverage, and joining the more than 250 writers currently contributing local reviews in 150 markets around the country and overseas, will be an expansion of the site's 'BWW' brand, on Dance (Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Ethnic, Broadway, Experimental, Emerging Choreographers, Folk, Ballroom, Tap, Dance Revivals), Classical Musical, Art and Opera.

Today the site has also announced the appointment of new Editors-in-Chief to lead these sections and critic teams, including Barnett Serchuk (BWWDanceWorld.com), Peter Danish (BWWClassicalWorld.com), Barry Kostrinsky (BWWArtWorld.com), Richard Sasanow (BWWOperaWorld.com) and David Clarke (Theatre Recordings). Each editor brings a wide, and deep breadth of knowledge and experience to the job, and will manage 35 new writers devoted exclusively to these sites.

"Talking to theatre and arts organizations in New York and around the country on a daily basis," said Miles Silverman, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing "we understand the unique challenges that they face in getting the word out about their productions to proper audiences in an ever-challenging marketplace where local and national publications are cutting their coverage. Acknowledging this challenge, we are increasing our commitment to connecting theatres and ticket buying audiences like never before."

Wrapping up this expansion, the company is excited to announce the BETA-launch of BWWHub.com, which will serve as a portal to all of its arts, entertainment and lifestyle coverage, showcasing the best of Broadway, Music, Art, Opera, Dance, Classical Music, TV, Film, Fashion, Travel, Fitness and beyond! The new site is accessible directly, and via a new widget located at the bottom of all pages of the site, which will also highlight top content across the arts.
