To celebrate her latest CD, Tony Award-nominee Ann Hampton Callaway will perform at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club from September 6th through 10th.

"Blues in the Night," which will be released on August 22nd by Telarc International, features Callaway singing an array of torch and blues songs such as "Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most" and the title song, as well as standards and showtunes like "It's All Right with Me" and "No One is Alone."  There are also a few original songs on the CD.

The Dizzy's Club concert, which will feature the Diva Jazz Orchestra and drummer Sherrie Maricle, will also boast an appearance by fellow Tony-nominee Liz Callaway, who will join Ann Hampton Callaway for a song.

A multi-MAC Award-winning cabaret star and songwriter, Callaway has also been seen on Broadway.  She earned a Tony Award nomination for her work in Swing!  Callaway, whose songs have been recorded by Barbra Streisand, Michael Feinstein and others, also performed the opening theme song of "The Nanny."  Previous albums include "Bring Back Romance" and "To Ella with Love."

Jazz at Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club is located at Broadway at 60th Street on the fifth floor.  Callaway's show will play: 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM with additional 11:30 PM shows Friday and Saturday nights.
