Alice Frazier will perform as the Special Guest of Scott Barbarino & The Cosmopolitans Variety Hour with Leslie Anderson and Ricky Ritzel at the Iridium Jazz Club on Thursday, June 23rd at 7 PM.

"Rib-tickling...evokes memories of Las Vegas in the fifties and sixties," Cabaret Scene's Peter Leavy wrote of the Variety Hour.  In addition, Molly Mahoney will be the weekly Special Stardust Spotlight Guest.

Roy Sander of Back Stage wrote of Frazier's "warm, engaging personality, life-embracing spirit, generous voice and insightful interpretations...a joyful and gratifying experience." Frazier, whose cabarets have included Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Curtain Call, Unforgettable and Through the Looking Glass, has performed at such venues as 1000 French, the Fredonia Opera House in New York, St. James Place, Courtyard by Marriott, The Society of Singers at ASCAP, Danny's Grand Sea Palace and Skylight Cabaret, Dillon's and Judy's Chelsea.  She has also appeared in regional productions of The Sound of Music and The Pirates or Penzance.

The Variety Hour is taking a summer break, but on August 25th, Mychelle Colleary will be featured on the show with a new Stardust Spotlight Guest, and novelty acts courtesy of Magic Brian and the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus.

There is a $15 cover, as well as a $10 food/beverage minimum for the show, with $5 off for members of MAC, the Cabaret Hotline, Singers Forum, Singing Experience and TRU.  The Iridium Jazz Club is located at 1650 Broadway.
