Abingdon Theatre Company's popular Sunday Series presents A DASH OF ROSEMARY! THE LIFE AND MUSIC OF Rosemary Clooney on Sunday, October 13 at 7pm at Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Douglas Kampsen directs, with musical direction by John Zupan.

One of America's most honored and cherished musical treasures, the legendary Rosemary Clooney had a career that spanned almost 60 years. This concert pays tribute to Clooney's fierce determination and the strong family ties that have made her a legend. The revue takes audiences on a sentimental journey through the crooner's life, while offering one hit song after the next. Featuring over 30 songs, including "This Ole House," "Our Love Is Here to Stay," "Sisters," "Tenderly," "I'll Be Seeing You," and "Hey There," audiences will fall in love with the lady and her music. It is a winning evening of entertainment, culminating in rousing renditions of "Come On-a My House" and "Mambo Italiano."

A DASH OF ROSEMARY! THE LIFE AND MUSIC OF Rosemary Clooney features the original New York City cast of Nicole Fenstad, Gregg Kapuscinski and Jill Roberts.

After a successful New York City workshop in 2003, A DASH OF ROSEMARY! had its world premiere in Minnesota in September 2003 and its Southern premiere in North Carolina in August 2004 at the Blowing Rock Theatre Company, selling to record-breaking houses and standing ovations. Since then, the show has played at theatres across the country including Florida Repertory Theatre, Sierra Repertory Theatre, Swift Creek Mill Theatre, Little Theatre on the Square, Bristol VAlley Theatre, Temple Theatre, The Showboat Majestic, and more.

"More than any other musical revue since Ain't Misbehavin', A DASH OF ROSEMARY! gets under the skin of its inspiration, Rosemary Clooney's remarkable life and the music she made popular. This show is the pleasure of reading a juicy autobiography while experiencing some of the greatest songs from the greatest era of American songwriting," said Robert Cacioppo, Producing Artistic Director, Florida Repertory Theatre.
