MSG Entertainment (MSGE) announced today the official kick-off to the holiday season with "Christmas in August," celebrating the 2015 Radio City Christmas Spectacular, presented by Chase. The 2015 production will delight audiences with dazzling dance numbers, traditional favorites, elaborate costumes and state-of-the-art technology. On Thursday, August 13 at 11:00 A.M., join Santa Claus and the Rockettes as they stop traffic on 6th avenue in front of Radio City Music Hall and the iconic dancers bring to life the wooden soldiers and rag dolls from Santa's enchanted workshop in the North Pole.

The day begins when Santa Claus makes his yearly trip from the North Pole to Radio City Music Hall, his home away from home for the holiday season. The Rockettes will join Santa and showcase their renowned precision technique with a presentation of the iconic number "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers." The Rockettes will then take over 6th avenue and bring the classic "Rag Dolls" scene to life with a performance from the number, which originally debuted in 1940 and was re-imagined for the 2014 production. Santa will be joined by 95.5 PLJ on-air host John Foxx to kick off the festivities.

The Rockettes are a legendary dance company and have been a part of the fabric of New York City for more than 85 years. Since their debut in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in 1933, the Rockettes have danced into the hearts of millions, spreading Christmas cheer to people of all ages and becoming a family tradition for generations. Their technique continues to be both deceivingly complex and completely breathtaking and their talent and athleticism is unrivaled.

The Rockettes have appeared in some of the most prominent events in the entertainment landscape including the 2015 NBA All-Star Game, the 2013 Super Bowl numeral unveil, the 2013 MLB Home Run Derby, NBC's hit show, "America's Got Talent," and various other special events including award shows, national television appearances, sporting events and Presidential inaugurations. Radio City Music Hall is now a year-round destination for family entertainment in New York City with the long-running holiday show, Radio City Christmas Spectacular and the new spring perennial, New York Spring Spectacular, presented by Chase, which earlier this year sold nearly 300,000 tickets as its inaugural run was extended to eight weeks due to popular demand.

Performances of the 2015 Radio City Christmas Spectacular begin November 13, 2015 and run through January 3, 2016 at Radio City Music Hall. Tickets start at $46 and can be purchased online at www.RadioCityChristmas.com, Ticketmaster at 1-866-858-0007 or Radio City's Box Office (50th St. & Avenue of the Americas).
