Golden Globe Award winner and Broadway veteran Jim Parsons was the recipient of the 2014 Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series' for his role on CBS' THE BIG BANG THEORY. This marks Parsons' third Emmy.

Parsons is also nominated tonight for 'Best Supporting Actor in a Movie or Miniseries' for his performance on HBO'S THE NORMAL HEART.

Parsons returned to Broadway in the revival of 'Harvey' after his extremely successful debut in Larry Kramer's 2011 Tony Award winning play The Normal Heart and received the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance.

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards telecast will air live coast-to-coast live tonight at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on NBC from the NOKIA Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles. The stars have already hit the red carpet and settled in for the ceremony - but it's never too late to get one last look at the fashion!
