Rhode Island’s Tony Award-winning theater, Trinity Rep has created unparalleled professional theater for and with its community since its founding in 1963. Trinity Rep is also a leader in arts education. From our landmark Project Discovery student matinee program, which has brought over 1.4 million students to the theater since its inception in 1966, to Trinity Rep’s Active Imagination Network, which offers specially designed classes for ​people with disabilities, our philosophy on theater education is all about access, outreach, and whole-hearted participation. Each year, Trinity Rep casts 12 children ages 8-12 in its annual production of A Christmas Carol. Auditions are typically in August.
