Red Bank Theatre for Young Audiences in New Jersey
Red Bank Theatre for Young Audiences’ mission is two-fold: providing local teens an opportunity to perform at no cost and presenting pay-what-you-can, quality theatre for local children and families from which to experience the gifts of live theatre.
RBTYA, no less than bi-annually since December of 2022 (Fall/Winter and Spring), has presented fun, entertaining, and comedic plays with positive inclusive messages to local children and their families. In the spirit of fostering community and access for all children, admission has been set at a ‘give what you can’ scale, so that all families are able to afford to attend and a talk-back or meet-and-greet/photo session with the cast takes place after each show. In addition, RBTYA has offers two summer ‘theatre camps’ for younger children (9-12-years-old) at no cost to the participants.
