Ain't I a Woman at Tower Theatre

Ain't I a Woman is an evening of five short plays all written, produced and directed by black women.  All loosely connected to the themes of dystopias both now and in an imagined future as well as looking at the intersection of race, class and gender in our complex world today.  An initiative launched and produced by Lande Belo. Ain't I a Woman is directed by Lande Belo, Sara Amanda and Beverly Andrews.  Featuring the work of Mauricia Lewis, Sara Amanda, Eileen Gbagbo, Rukiat Ashawe and Katrina Smith-Jackson.  Come and see our polarized world through a young black female perspective.
