A Tale Of Two Cities For Brighton Town.
A Tale Of Two Cities For Brighton Town.

A concert performance of the recent Broadway flop, 'A Tale Of Two Cities' is to be filmed at the Theatre Royal Brighton this summer.
It will be screened in the U.S in late 2009.
The DVD will be released in the U.K Dec 2009 with the production screened on UK TV in 2010.
Members of the Broadway cast are to fly over for the production and they will be backed by a full company of English performers.

Why go to all the trouble and expense of doing this when the Broadway production is barely cold in its grave?

I for one am VERY happy about this. I LOVED the show. And, I do think that if it managed to be able to hold on until the tourist season then it would have done better.

The real problem was getting people in the door. Once they did they enjoyed the show.

The concert is on 25 June. I can get free tickets but I don't feel like hauling myself down to Brighton for it.
