The British press leaked rumours of Sheldon's casting long before it was actually confirmed, which may explain the confusion.

I'm sure no offense was meant, tenorboyo.

'Life's An Adventure- Dress Accordingly'
Priscilla herself was parked out side the Palace yesterday from around 10.30am for about 2 hrs for the main photo shoot then she disappeared- hope she wasn't clamped and taken to Marble Arch!!!
The launch at the Palace yesterday was great fun and a lot was done to put over the spirit of the show. The cast from Aussie were brought up and gave a great show for what seemed around 500 or 600. Big wigs from RUG were there ti introduce the show together with the shows director who introduced the principal London cast members. Tony Sheldon, Jason Donavon, Clive Carter and Oliver Thornton
The whoops of laughter and excitement at the costumes just paved the way for how the show will be received when the full production hits the stage next year!
Along with the press release the audience were given a 4 track CD of the Australian production and an original pre-cast London poster.
All that and free cup cakes!!!!

I think I prefer the Aussie poster with the diamante Priscilla logo at the moment rather than the pink neon one for London.
It may change in the next six months. Anyone who had them yesterday HOLD ON to them as they will be worth some hard money in just a few years!

I'm not sure what Baz Bamigboye has against 'Priscilla ' but he doesn't seem to want to let go of his hang up abut their ticket prices.
'Priscilla' is charging top price of £60.75 weekdays and a top of £65.75 on weekends. THE SHOW DOEST OPEN FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS!!!!
A lot of West End shows are currently charging £60 to £65 for weekend and for some weekdays too!
Two years ago 'Acorn Antiques' was charging £65 top price then and great deal of fuss was made but you couldn't get a ticket for love nor money!
By the time 'Priscilla' parks her stuff in the West End next March all the other big shows like 'The Lion King', 'Hairspray', etc etc etc will all be charging £60 or more as a norm or even more.
As for the show using Premium Seating, well that is already being done today in the West End- nothing new there- £90 for a ticket, a program and a glass of cheap champagne in a stuffy theatre bar! Solution= buy your own ticket, your own program and have a decent drink in the pub across the road.
I hope Baz isn't going to try and pull this wonderful show down thru something as fickle as ticket prices after all it will be the biggest and most spectacular show we will get next year!
