what do you think would qualify for this accolade?
personally i don't think you can beat the classics but some things come very close.

Hello Simon Elwell, i met you like 3 years ago at my Guildford audition? No? Maybe, i just recognised your name cos we emailed for a while. I'm in my final year at mountview now, so scary it hurts. Only got like 2 months til i'm out in the big bad world.
Hope you're well, sorry i'm not replying to your post, i don't know which solo you're talking about?!?! Leanne Jones

Right, sorry just been very thick. I understand now. Best female solo? I have a playlist on my ipod which is made up of all my favourite solo female songs. I go through phases, i used to listen to 'the wizard and i' and 'defying gravity' over and over (my housemates were mighty pissed off). Then it was 'astonishing' from little women. OVERALL, i love singing 'do it alone' from parade, or 'come to your senses' from tick tick boom. We just had out west end grad show thingy and i sang 'here i am' from dirty rotten scoundrels, now there's a bllody good song too. Dunno. And i always skip male songs on my ipod so dunno.
