Just been to a show tonight where the talent from Cameron's previous shows was very well presented and fully on display.
I've been told by someone who will play a major role in a new production that he will present in the West End in the summer of 2012 at the shows original home, the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Sounds good, it will pull in a lot of crowds from the Olympics. Anyone heard of any other theatre plans for 2012? I'd guess the West End will be littered with revivals of big name shows to appeal to the visitors?

This WOULD be amazing!

I presume Cameron will have three of the biggest shows of all time playing in the West-End in 2012, then?

Hopefully. All these years of making awful musicals into awful movies, and they still haven't made Miss Saigon, which is, in my opinion that most cinematic and suitable (along with Sunset Boulevard, obv.)

I always thought Miss Saigon was the most cinematic musical, and may actually be better on film than on stage. No idea if he can sing but I think Chris Evans (Hollywood actor, not the ginger DJ!) would make a great Chris.

Wasnt Oliver Stone working on a version a while ago? This has the potential of being one o the best stage to screen conversions. They just need to get the director right
