happy for him.
i would hardly call him a stage veteran though. (as says in the article) in fact on one of his interviews he stated he almost packed it all in because he kept being turned down for roles. i may be confusing the word vereran and legend, but i don't think he is either. he is very talented and i do absolutely love him though. :)

Well, veteran means someone who has been doing it for a long time (as far as I'm aware) and out of his 38 years on this planet, hes been an active professional performer for 23 of them, so I would count that as Veteran really!

Na, its fair enough, especially as, he may have been acting for that time, but he only came into the public eye in the last few years, it is a shame though that he is now tied up in Eastenders as I think he is a BRILLIANT actor, singer and dancer, once Bob Martin left, he was on equal par to Summer as the best in Drowsy and I thought he did a wonderful job of portraying that character EXACTLY how I imagined it!

It doesn't take a lot of effort to look up a dictionary and an actors credits.Even the article says he has been around on stage for 20 years.

i am aware of that...i wish they named more than two shows though. anyway, i was going more on his GMTV interview and how he almost packed it in at one point. that is a shame to feel that way at 36 with all of that experience he had and not gettting shows. i don't know what and how many he was turned down for but he made it sound like a lot. it's a tough old business.

I like him a lot more on the box (he's actually got me watching EastEnders again) than I did in Drowsy.
