I'm hearing that Chitty is looking to return to the West End this year. Anyone else picked that up?

If it does I hope they use the original set and staging as (from what I hear) the tour is too small now.

That is Chitty passes its MOT, West End theatres are very tough on fuel emissions now.

Loved Chitty at The Palladium, always had a soft spot for that show. Hope it grabs a Summer flight for the holidays somewhere, don't know where.

Its booked to July 17th eventho it says the tour finishes Sept 11th.

I don't think its going to The Shaftesbury as that would mean a dark theatre for 3 months.

It could go back to Palladium to fill in before Wizard of Oz opens..

Perfect show for a fill in, the only complexity to the set is the car and factory and that is well sorted, so be easy to stage.

Princeton intrigued to know how comes you had to sit through this show every night?

Great show first time roung, not as great second time round, but love to see her fly again.

Can anyone explain what the diffrents with the set with the London production and touring one?
