It will sell well, and bring in much needed revenue for The Mayflower (dont forget its a charity) so great news if the case. Especially considering its missed out on Poppins and the initial start of Les Mis tour.

I didnt mind WWRY, it did what it said on the tin.

I spoke to some of the cast when they were at the sit down in Mancs, they are only contracted until the initial dates are over, many of them have got other work lined up

"Rent Remixed was original, emotional, inspiring and entertaining, this is none of them! "

No, RENT Remixed was misguided, coldly distant, uninspired, and entertaining in the same way as The Room, which is to say from schadenfreude at the misguiding.

I've enjoyed WWRY both times that I've seen it. Yes, the book should be better and the characters are 2D in the extreme, but it's a visually impressive evening of kickin' tunes and if it brings new people to the theatre (or teenagers who will grow up to adult theatregoers) then all the better.

"Rent Remixed was original, emotional, inspiring and entertaining"

No Rent was all of them things

Rent remixed was a show aimed at people who respond to jolts of disco and dance music.
A show about poverty at its core and they were all wearing designer close and looked like they lived in a posh Manhatten appartment........yeah inspiring

And Rent Remixed original? it was an update of Rent which was a retelling of La Boheme

"Ok, has there ever been ANYTHING in the theatre like Rent Remixed before,"

Plenty on the fringe, the set for In My Life comes to mind (except that was actually done creatively), musically there was a club based show in the 90's in New York though its name escapes me.

"and you just described my dream world! "

Your dream world is Friday night at Fire?

"I just think some people dont have any taste! hahaha "

Cardiff is supposed to be July next year.
Southampton, no idea, but there is no other theatre on that coast that could take that show. (if they'd want it in the first place!)
