Earlier this month West End veteran Ramin Karimloo played a series of shows at New York City's SubCulture, showcasing his many talents beyond the Phantom, and the journey he has taken from the West End stage to the recording studio. While he was here he had jam sessions with Phantom veterans Peter Joback and Sierra Boggess, who sang "Music of the Night" and "Once Upon Another Time" with him respectively.

In the world of theatrical performers, Ramin Karimloo is known as one of the most formidable talents in the industry. This Iranian-born Canadian singer began his career in London's West End playing roles in The Phantom of the Opera and starring as Jean Valjean in LES MISERABLES. When he's not taking on major roles in the theatre world, Ramin takes the stage as a singer/songwriter. He stops by SubCulture to perform songs off his latest album Human Heart, taking influence from the country, bluegrass, rock, and folk music that he experienced through his life. Alongside with his musical theater training, this combination gives a very specific and personal sounds that will warm the room!
