The Children's Theatre of Charleston (CTOC) has opened registration for Madagascar the Musical Jr auditions on January 5th and 6th, 2019. The musical, based on the hit children's movie, will be opening in Charleston on March 28th, 2019 at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center's Little Theater.

Auditions are broken down into half hour slots, with around 8 spaces available for each slot. Auditions will take place between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 and Sunday, January 6th, 2019. You can view the available time slots and register by visiting their registration page. Anybody between the ages of 8 and 18 are encouraged to audition. Walk-ins will be allowed but will have to wait for the first available slot.

Madagascar the Musical Jr follows Alex the Lion, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hip Hop Hippo, Marty the Zebra and many other animals as they venture out from the confines of the zoo they have known their whole life and into the world outside. Upbeat and funny, this show will have you tapping your toes and laughing every step of the way.

For more information you can view the Audition Event Page on Facebook, CTOC's website, CTOC's Facebook Page or contact CTOC either through the form on their website or by emailing ctoc@ctoc.org.
