11th Annual New Voice Play Festival Winners Announced

By: Jun. 29, 2011

The Old Opera House Theatre Company is delighted to announce the winners of the 11th Annual New Voice Play Festival.

Each year some of the country's best playwrights submit their new work to this one-act play writing completion. With over 60 plays to choose from this year, a panel of judges selected the top four plays for the 2011 Season and all four plays were presented in a refreshing evening of new theatre on June 24, 25 & 26. Following each evening's performance, the audience was asked to select their favorites for the evening. The audience was specifically charged to rank the plays based on the merit of the play writing. After three evenings of thought-provoking and entertaining new theatre, the audience's votes were tallied and the results of the 11th Annual New Voice Play festival are shown below.
